I places 1st in unclassified division. I only shot it once in a ZSA match, but I think after the Carolina Cup I will start switching between this it in ESP and my Taurus PT1911 in CDP. Attachments:

Well I use a Ruger Alaskan (loaded with .45 Colt) in USPSA, IDPA, and the occasional Steel Challenge. I make major with the reloads that I use ;D, and it is a blast (pun intended) to shoot. I have been told that the revolver is quite loud, as one shooter thought that he had left his hearing protection off when I started shooting in a match over a year ago. I looked at the video that the fellow shooter gave me, and realized just how loud my revolver is to others. I always wear good hearing protection, so until I saw the video I did not know about the report of the revolver. I have even been told that handgun report from open shooters has little on my revolver. With a 2.5 inch barrel I have to load pretty "hot" loads to make major in USPSA. The noise comes with the territory. With practice I have become quite accurate with the revolver, and most of the time do very well in that aspect. I am still working on the speed part of the equation, but that is coming along as well. Attachments:
